My goal as a tutor is to help students make progress in every session. Sometimes that doesn't always happen, so it helps that I'm very patient. I'm comfortable going over the same material and learning skills multiple times and in different ways to help students learn successfully. When I work with a student, I get to know them first and form a connection with them, which allows me to understand their needs and tendencies, which I can then use to customize lesson plan that is effective and efficient for them. I can tutor elementary school math, reading, writing, English grammar, ESL, special education, and test preparation for admissions and assessment exams like the SSAT and ISEE. When I have spare time, I like to hang out with my family and friends, cheer for the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens, read, and listen to country music.
