As a current student, I understand what is effective in the realm of teaching and learning. I am available to tutor students in algebra, geometry, statistics, anatomy, organic chemistry, physics, microeconomics, calculus, business, and a variety of other subjects. I also tutor Mandarin Chinese, if any student is looking to learn the language or improve their skills. I can help students prepare for their standardized tests like the SAT and MCAT. I am currently in school pursuing my passion for math and science. I am excited to meet new students and guide them down the path towards academic success. It is incredibly rewarding to witness my students finally grasp the concepts and principles that they have been struggling to understand. As a tutor I am aware of the different ways that every student learns. I use the techniques and resources that work best for a student, whether it be practice problems or other exercises. I encourage my students to teach the material back to me, as this solidifies their understanding of the subject at hand and demonstrates to me that they are getting it. In my free time I enjoy reading books, drawing pictures, playing tennis, and baking delicious desserts.
