Experience
Pro-bono and paid tutoring experience in college including high school math/algebra, essay writing, college essay writing. High School teaching experience at a private boarding school in NY: one-on-one tutoring/study help and in-class leadership experience. I want to be a tutor for flexible working hours and because I have a natural ability to explain subjects clearly, encourage, challenge, and help students reach their goals. I spent the fall of both my Junior and Senior years in college coaching a local JV High School Boys' Soccer team. I also spent time coach Boys' & Girls' Middle School Basketball and Boys' High School Lacrosse at the private school. Each experience brought increased understanding on how to connect to younger individuals in order to encourage and challenge them to do better.
