Sandy M.

Private tutor in Baltimore, MD

Education

I have a PhD in Art History from the University of Georgia, a Masters in Art History from San Diego State University, and a Bachelors of Art in Art History from the University of Colorado. I also earned a Business Certificate from the University of Colorado and atudied abroad in London, UK, and Florence, Italy, as an undergraduate.

Experience

I have 7 years teaching experience at the college level (both at large public universities and at small community colleges), where I taught primarily freshmen and sophmores, while editing masters students' theses. My favorite part of teaching is interacting with students - helping them to cultivate successful study habits, improve their research and writing skills as well as critical thinking, understand how to market their skills in and beyond academia, etc. I also have real world experience, having worked in art galleries in NYC, an art museum in Denver, and a private art collection in South Carolina.
