Hi! My name is Callie, and I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a senior at Johns Hopkins University. I am a fun-loving, enthusiastic tutor who has extensive experience with tutoring and mentoring elementary and middle school aged kids. During my three years at Hopkins, I have tutored for the Tutorial Project, a program that pairs elementary school children with undergraduates for help in reading, writing and math, as well as for the LEAD Program, a mentoring program where middle school kids create and develop an academic project with a mentor in a discipline of their choosing. I am bilingual in Spanish and have taken Arabic for two years. My SAT Score was a 2120, and I am an AP Scholar. I scored a 4 on the AP Spanish Language, a 4 on AP U.S. History, a 4 on AP European History, a 5 on AP English Language and Composition, and a 5 on AP English Literature. In high school, I took a range of courses including Political Science & Economics, six AP Courses, and Honors Spanish. I received the Brown University Book Award for Excellence in Writing and Analytical Skills, as well as an Award for Excellence in Spanish.

Hobbies
I am co-captain of the Hopkins Women's Club Squash Team, and I love to play sports and run during my free time. For three years, I have been a chair and dais staffer for the Hopkins Model United Nations Conference for high schoolers, and I also did Model UN in high school--I love debate and public speaking! I really enjoy reading and writing in my spare time as well, and this past year I became a contributing writer for the Johns Hopkins Politik, a publication that seeks to provide critical analysis on contemporary political issues. I also love traveling; I studied abroad in Granada, Spain during the fall of 2014, and I have traveled to nearly 15 countries! After graduation, I would love to move to Morocco or Spain.
