I have a degree in Secondary/Adult Special Education with a concentration in Middle School and Mathematics from Towson University. I graduated from TU in May of 2014 with a 3.81 GPA.
Experience
I am a BCPS Mathematics and Theater teacher. Yes, you read that correctly- Theater Arts is my passion as well; there is never a dull moment in my tutoring sessions! Under BCPS I am a highly qualified mathematics special educator. I have the passion and ability to teach students who struggle greatly in math as I once struggled in grade school as well. I know how to work from their own ability level and raise their skills to a higher level while also building on their confidence and sense of comfort in the subject. Over the last 6+ years I have tutored from grades 1st- 12th in both general education and special education settings. I have tutoring experience in mathematics and reading/writing.
