I recently completed my master's degree in secondary education in English at Loyola University--Maryland. I graduated Cum Laude from College of the Holy Cross in 2011, with an English major and a creative writing concentration.
Experience
I'm currently an online tutor. During my master's program at Loyola, I taught sixth, seventh, eighth, and twelfth graders. Previously, I worked at a nursery-eighth school, and a boys' middle school. I volunteered as a tutor all through college. I love tutoring because it's such a wonderful opportunity to work one-on-one with students. It's a really special thing to get to know new students on an individual basis and discover how they learn best.
