I worked as a writing tutor for the English department at my alma mater. I also spent time teaching poetry writing in New York at the Hayground School (Long Island) and Urban Word NYC. I enjoy tutoring because the environment is less intense than the classroom can be for some students and I am able to assist a student's learning as comfortable as possible.
