Experience

I am located in Baltimore, Maryland, and have a background in chemical engineering. I am able to tutor math and science classes, including algebra, calculus, chemistry, geometry, competition math, physics, pre-calculus, statistics, multivariable calculus, and elementary/middle school general math. I can also help students with IB and AP exams, such as IB Mathematical Studies SL and HL, IB Physics SL and HL, IB Further Mathematics HL, AP Calculus AB, and AP Physics 1. My philosophy is that tutors need to be patient with their students and maintain a sense of humor for students to effectively learn. My passion is helping students lose their frustration and confusion over subjects they don't understand and showing them how the subjects are practical to everyday life.I have studied at both National Technical University in Greece and at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. I also have significant experience as a science and math tutor across various grade levels, and I have worked with diverse students. I have also been a tent leader at a summer camp and helped with science experiments at schools. Some of my other interests include traveling, making models, and solving brain teasers. I like doing puzzles and playing Sudoku in my spare time.
