Experience
I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. I received my Master in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, plus a certificate in Health Finance and Management. I have tons of experience tutoring pre-college, college, and graduate students and elementary, middle, and high school children. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about the math, data analysis, Epidemiology and Chinese. Also, I am a full-time researcher/biostatistician working at Johns Hopkins and have extensive experience in clinical medical research, which further strengthen science and research skills. From my standpoint, helping struggling students understand new material is a very rewarding experience for both the student and myself. I firmly believe continuing education during entire life-span is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to share this appreciation to all of my students. I completely understand that each student possesses different learning goals, and therefore I am flexible to adjust my teaching plans to meet the needs of my students.
