Experience
I currently have my bachelor's degree in English writing and my master's degree in secondary education. Along with my academic degrees, I have acquired my certification to teach the English language to middle school and high school students. As for my experience, I have professionally taught English high school classes and SAT preparation classes. I also have taught English at the graduate level. While teaching graduate level English, I worked with pre-service teachers. I have worked with students of all ages, skills, and walks of life. I really like helping others. I thrive on helping students improve their English communication skills. I understand that no two students are exactly alike when it comes to their levels and learning needs. Because of this, I take note of unique and individual learning styles. From there, I tailor a customized lesson plan for each individual student. These tailored lesson plans are meant to teach students new material as well as go over material that may be confusing or challenging for the student. Currently, I am free to tutor a number of subjects. Some of the subjects I am currently offering my tutoring services in are lit, writing, reading, grammar, SAT preparation, and many more.
