Hello! My name is Courtney! I am 21 years old and I graduated from Anne Arundel Community College in May 2014 with my Associates of Arts in Teaching Degree. I am currently in the Elementary Education/Special Education Program at Towson University. I absolutely love kids and think that they are so incredibly smart and have so much potential! I have always felt this way and truly believe that a solid elementary education is the foundation and support a child needs to be successful in their future academics. I have completed over 230 hours in a classroom setting. This involves helping students with class work, creating and teaching full lessons with measurable objectives, observing, joining teachers for planning sessions and much more! I was responsible for teaching my own students a full 200 page curriculum this semester and they just finished their unit assessment and did so wonderful on it! I was so incredibly proud! I have been told many times that my enthusiasm and energy is contagious for my students and really gets the students engaged! I hope I can help your child as much as I have helped many students before! As well as actually being in the classroom setting, I have been a nanny for the last three years and have always helped my kids with their homework! Kids are truly amazing and have such high potential; it is my job to help it blossom!
