I enjoy helping students learn about Language. I understand that the most common methods do not always work for all students, and so I try to help them find a process that makes sense for them. I customize tutoring sessions to help benefit my students, because my overall goal is for them to have conversations in other languages.I come from a family of teachers, and thoroughly enjoyed being a teacher myself. I have taught students from elementary school, all the way to adult learners who were studying English for the first time. I am presently a substitute teacher, and love my job. I have also worked in a hospital. I offer tutoring in ESL/ELL, French 1-4, Spanish, and English.I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore. There, I earned my undergraduate degree in Modern Languages and Linguistics. When I'm not working with students, I love to read, write, travel to new places, and settle in with a movie.
