Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and my master's in Criminal Justice from the American Military University. I have been accepted into the King Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland. I have a wide variety of tutoring experience. In high school, I tutored younger students in an array of subjects ranging from English and social studies to math and sciences. In college, I was active in research assistance and student teaching. My passion for tutoring continued after college. During a volunteer trip abroad, I got the opportunity to teach children the alphabet in Spanish and to teach ESL courses for adults. My strong academic background and years of tutoring experience have taught me that adapting my teaching style to each individual student is very important. I'm also a huge advocate for equipping my students with problem-solving skills they need to think critically with or without their tutor or instructor present. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I spend time playing soccer and volleyball, traveling as much as possible, and reading Pulitzer Prize-winning novels. I look forward to our meeting and to assisting your child on the road to academic success!
