I'm a teacher of special education at the high school level, I also tutor students on a daily basis. I love English, and I like to share my love through helping students with reading, grammar, and writing. I believe in lifelong learning, and I instill within my students skills that they can use to learn independently. I believe this is more important in the long run then the material I tutor students in. I help students gain awareness in their capabilities and their individual strengths, and ultimately help to make students confident in their ability to learn. I attended the University of Scranton for my master's degree in curriculum and instruction. When I have free time, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, reading, writing, and spending time with my daughter.
