Experience
I am currently the Singing in French professor at Peabody Institute teaching undergraduates the phonetics of French for singing as well as historical context and style of the chanson and mélodie. I completed my coursework and my student teaching with Boston University's School of Education. I worked full-time at Newton South High School teaching and assisting with multiple levels of French learners. I also tutored some of the students one on one when they needed it. I am a singer and have therefore had extensive experiences working with phonetics and enjoy helping people with their accents. My language skills, including my accent and my use of idiomatic language, have been highly commented by native speakers of both French and German.
