BA in Physiology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a GPA of 3.4. MD from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine with a GPA of 3.3. I will be starting residency in Internal Medicine in NY starting July, 2019.
Experience
I have a rich background in tutoring. I was a tutor for Mathnasium in various math related subjects for students in grade 1-12. I have also tutored college students in biology and biochemistry. Furthermore, in medical school I tutored other medical students in physiology, pathology, and microbiology. I have a strong passion for teaching and one day wish to pursue being an educator in the field of medicine. I am a very relatable person with great communication skills. I have taken all the courses required to become a doctor including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, etc. (sciences and math). I have worked hard throughout undergrad and medical school to achieve scores and grades desirable to become a great physician.
