I've been tutoring off and on since I was in high school. Recently, I've done a lot of tutoring with students from Towson University and University of Maryland in organic chemistry to help improve their grades over the semester. I was a teaching assistant for organic chemistry 1 and 2 while I was in graduate school, and wanted to continue to help students understand a challenging subject after I graduated. I like the one-on-one interactions I can have with students in a tutoring setting, and I'm happy to alter my teaching style to fit each individual student! I strive to be the tutor I wish I had when I was struggling with chemistry when I was an undergrad. Chemistry is hard, but with enough work, I can meet students halfway to help them improve both their grades and understanding.
