I graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in chemistry. I have a huge passion for chemistry. I understand that it's a difficult subject, but to me, that just means it's more exciting to each student when they master new topics in chemistry. I have many years of experience tutoring students in chemistry. Through those experiences, I have developed methods for working with individuals learning chemistry. I say methods, plural, because with each student being a unique individual, they do not all benefit from learning in the same way. I am ready to adjust my teaching techniques to fit each student's learning style, which makes the time we spend together the most effective and efficient. I'm also available to tutor a number of other subjects, including some IB subjects like film and visual arts. I have also had success tutoring students preparing for standardized exams, like the SAT. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I like reading, meeting new people, hiking, playing competitive games, and listening to podcasts.
