I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University, and received numerous awards while there. I also took courses in Public Health Studies. I have a special place in my heart for the French language, and have become fluent in the language. I have had a great degree of success in tutoring students, from elementary age through college students. I have worked with elementary students on general school subjects, and college students studying statistics and, of course, French. I am able to tutor students in French at any level, from beginning through conversational French. As a tutor, I believe my position is that of guide to the student's individual learning. It's important that students discover the answers they seek on their own, with my guidance as necessary, and their learning is much more effective working in this manner. Facing down their challenges and overcoming them is a way for students to build confidence, and that's the greatest boost to a student's ability to learn anything.
