I'm Sam, and I went to Duke University for my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. I'm currently working as a business analyst. I've always loved math, and I enjoy helping students develop a solid understanding of math fundamentals. When students understand core concepts, they are able to apply their knowledge in any situation. I start with students with small intermediate goals, staying positive and helping students make progress. This help students become more confident in their abilities, and motivates them to increase their problem-solving skills. In my spare time, I like sports and watching movies. My favorite sports are skiing, golf, and basketball. When I'm creating word problems for students, there is a good chance one of those activities will be included.
