I'm currently pursuing degrees in chemistry and creative writing at Johns Hopkins University, two disciplines I enjoy greatly. I have spent the past four years tutoring on campus, and I have more experience tutoring English and math prior to that. I believe students learn best when they are interested in the topic and having fun learning, but everybody enjoys learning in different ways. I have the command of many different teaching approaches so that I can find the best one works for each individual student that I work with. I am comfortable tutoring students in algebra, calculus, chemistry, pre-calculus, environmental science, statistics, trigonometry, biology, reading, writing, essays, economics, social studies, multivariable calculus, study skills and organization, test preparation, and others. In my spare time, I enjoy reading journals and writing short stories.
