Experience
I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to also mentor. I found the classes I did the best in (and learned the most from) were those where the professor was like a mentor to me and encouraged me to go the extra mile in my studies/writing. Private and group tutoring with Johns Hopkins for 1 year. Tutored in chemistry and calculus. Tutored fellow students in introductory level classes. I have Aced Organic Chemistry and conducted organic chemistry research for 2 years in high school. Private tutoring in Chemistry during high school. 1 year. One of my tutored students was accepted to Harvard. I've taken over 60+ hours of college level biology courses. I have also conducted Cellular Biology research at the Johns Hopkins Public Health Campus. SAT - 1940

Hobbies
Who's the better Mario Brother - Mario or Luigi? We can debate that after a lesson! I also like sports and working out. I think exercise is key to brain function and better performance in school. I am patient and understanding. No one should ever be made to feel unintelligent in a learning environment - and I work to make my lessons as rewarding and engaging as possible.
