I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2015 with a 3.6 GPA and both a B.S. Geological Engineering and B.S. Geology & Geophysics.
Experience
I have extensive experience tutoring college athletes in math, geology, chemistry, physics, statics, and public speaking. I learned how to make weekly tutoring sessions a positive experience for busy athletes living a stressful lifestyle. Since we were only able to meet 2-3 hours a week, I spent time teaching students how to best approach homework and studying in order to maximize the benefit of their study time, as well as explaining the concepts they were struggling with. I was fortunate enough to tutor students from all backgrounds and learning styles, which helped me to develop a number of ways to explain a concept based on what approach "clicked" with the student. I am proud to say I was able to guide a number of students from failing to passing, and improve everybody's grades and understanding of the concepts. The best part of my job was to help students reach their full potential. I am currently a practicing engineer who uses math, engineering, and technical writing concepts on a daily basis.
