Experience

I am currently a second year teacher in Baltimore City with Teach For America, an organization which only accepts the top 7% of applicants. I have spent much of the last two years tutoring many students outside of school as well. I received a 28 on the ACT and took 5 AP tests in high school. I also received a 159 on the LSAT. I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about learning and connecting students with the knowledge that they need. I am currently about 75% through a Master's Degree at Johns Hopkins University, the number 1 School of Education in the United States.

Hobbies

I am a very laid back guy with a bit of a southern accent. I am known around my school for being able to connect with students in a deep and meaningful way. I believe that students learn best from people they can trust and they need confidence in you in order to trust you. That's why I make it a point to never say anything I don't mean and never make a promise I don't intend to keep.
